How to optimize a domain name
Domain Name Optimization
Domain Optimization is key when parking a domain name or redirecting traffic to affiliate websites. Many domain owners earn a revenue from parking their domain names or by creating a landing page that has similar products or services that the visitor is looking for.
Optimized Domain Names
Forget trying to build a website and just optimize the heck out of your domain names. You could earn a living off a single domain name by optimizing it correctly. Most domain registrars allow you to mask the title and keywords for the domain name. Thus allowing you to establish your domain in a search engine with the precise terms.
Optimization of the domain name starts with finding out what other websites are marketing. You must chose a niche when dealing with a single domain name or even optimizing multiple domains. The best way to optimize a domain is by choosing a specific demographic and then targeting exact keywords and phrases that people are searching for. Even if each individual word or phrase is not necessarily a popular one you can still earn a lot of money from the traffic to the domain. Just don’t do anything illegal or your domain could get blacklisted from all major search engines. Illegal activities often are where people use some kind of clone or bot to fool search engines. Don’t ever try this technique, play by the book, follow search engine guidelines and you’ll be sure to be successful.
Determine what kind of domain name business model would be best for your domain. You could either redirect people to an affiliate landing page which will earn you money every time someone buys, signs up, or visits the site, or by getting paid per click with other popular PPC programs. The benefit to affiliate programs is that you will get a bigger commission when someone does generate revenue for your program but without the right site it can be hard to convert. The benefit to pay per click is that you get more clicks and earn instant revenue but the amount you earn is lower. It all depends on the website your promoting and the content of the domain name.
Targeting domain niche markets with higher payouts can boost your earnings greatly. Some pay per clicks pay more for certain types of content than others and the same goes for affiliates. Find an in between place that isn’t over saturated and market your domain to the masses. Use link sharing, social networks, and search engine directories to boost traffic to your site. Email and word of mouth are also great tools. The whole thing about a domain is that you don’t really need a website you build as long as you know how to redirect or park the domain. Parking the domain or redirecting is called forwarding. This process can easily be changed in your domain manager. Each domain can have its own account setting or all of them can be redirected to the same content.
Optimize the title with the exact phrase you want people to type in the search engine. This means that when someone searches for that exact phrase that your domain will be more likely to come up in the search engine results. Again these changes are made from with the domain name account control panel or domain name manager. There should also be an option to add specific keywords to mask the blank website. If your actually going to build a website then lookup how to optimize website content. Optimizing a domain name is only appropriate for people who are parking or redirecting traffic to through their domain name.
