I know i am only 28 weeks and i am feeling pretty uncomfortable, i am dreading going over 30 weeks.
I am making a cross stitch for my little boy so that when he is born i can hang it on his wall. It’s a really cute one with baby animals on it. When bub is born you put his name, date of birth and weight on it. It is really cute and it keeps me occupied and ammused when i am feeling crappy or bored.
And the good thing is you can lay in bed and do it so you can rest and still do something to keep your mind busy without straining yourself. Congrats on your baby girl, she’s not far away now!!

Pre-natal massage, pedicures, manicures, and –oops!–Christmas cookies– got me through the last few weeks.
I also waited until then to decorate the nursery and wash all the clothes and bedding for my new little one.
Walk a lot too–it really does help the discomfort and helps make labor and delivery better.
Funny, I was due on Jan 8th too–though I ended up needing to be induced and actually had my son on New Year’s Eve 2005. He’ll be 2 in a few more weeks.
    Good luck.

Hey thats my husbands bithday congrats. I know exactly how you feel the thing is im on bedrest and there isnt much i can tell you except for the fact that im in my 38th week and im still impatiently waiting. I can tell you to steer clear of the pregnancy shows because it will make you want the baby more. Try watching like the 25 days of christmas instead lol. then, plan stuff. a walk with your man on one day. try hanging out with friends on another day. just try not to think about it. It makes it worse when you think about it. believe me, Iv been obsessed with my pregnancy and now im dieing to get it over with. Good Luck

where are your other two kids? in school? i am in my second pregnancy and in a lot of ways i feel like i am missing out on the pregnancy because i am so busy with my toddler! if your other kids are in school, use their winter break to strengthen your relationship with them. you know how hectic it can get with a new baby!
good luck and congrats. 6 weeks really isn’t that much longer… think about how many weeks you have already survived!

im still young so thats why these things work for me,.im only 18, but yeah, you could read, write, paint, clean, fix up the house, wash the babys clothes, put up a x-mas tree, do welcome home crafts for the baby with your other 3 kids, SLEEP WHILE WE CAN…lol, just have fun girl, congrats and good luck!!!!!!!!!

You could clean… (thats what I need to do) Yet im like you uncomfortable and cleaning seems to not interest me. I keep waiting for my nesting thing to kick in, but… Well..
Honestly im not sure. You could shop, visit with friends, make list of things you want to do before and after. Write your baby letters, get your christmas cards done, find a really good book to occupy you. Start teaching yourself a new language, eat lots, lay on the couch and watch tv.. I dont think anything you do will completely take your mind of this pregnancy. I think for 37 weeks it is all I have thought about and now I only have 16 days left (at the most before my c-section) and I have all this unfocused energy. All those things I wrote sound appealing buy actually doing them doesnt happen for me. If I was crafty I would make a blanket or socks and a hat, but im not crafty. Maybe you are.. If so make christmas presents for loved ones like decorated frames and ornaments, knit a blanket, or just play on the computer and watch the clock tick… Good luck. It will come soon, at least I hope… Then you will be like why didnt I do this or that??

You can get into the holidays. There are lots of things you can do like maybe start a family news letter to send with your cards, make ornaments with your kids, and try some new recipes.
